Mr. William Heath Hooper, 44 of Tarpon Springs, Florida passed away Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, at his residence after a long battle with cancer.

Funeral services for Mr. Hooper will be held Monday, Jan. 31, 11 a.m., at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home with Brother Tim Trent officiating. Interment will follow at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 30 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mr. Hooper is survived by his son, William (Will) Heath Hooper, Jr.; his parents John Scott (Scotty) and Suzette Portemont Hooper; his sister and brother-in-law, Yvette Hooper Ramirez and Roger Ramirez; his brother and sister-in-law, Rhett Scott Hooper and Shana B. Hooper; his nephews, Cole Scott Hooper and Clint Alexander Hooper; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mr. Hooper was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mallett S. and Allene Hooper, Johnny and Marilyn Portemont; his uncle, George W. Hooper; and his aunt, Tamalyn Ava Portemont.

Mr. Hooper was an avid scratch golfer and shot a hole-in-one at Evans Barnes Golf Course at the age of 14. He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. He always exhibited a daring spirit and was loved by all that met him.

Mr. Hooper attended Andalusia High School before transferring to Hooper Academy in 1991. Mr. Hooper was a butcher for many years and was employed with Sam’s Club in St. Petersburg, Florida for over 19 years.
