She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Ray Lamar Rhodes; son, Chad Rhodes (Casey); grandsons, Aiden and Connor Rhodes; daughter, Kimberly Sanders (Blake); grandsons, Wayne and George Sanders; father-in-law, Irvin Bess; sister-in-law, Judy B. Holley (John); nieces, Joni Lloyd (Tim), Jana Best (Billy); aunts, Mary Hawthorne, Margaret Butts, and Vera Bess; and numerous cousins and great-nieces and nephews.

She worked with the Alabama Baptist State Convention for 15 years and as office manager for her husband’s private practice in Montgomery for 15 years. Shortly after retirement she and Lamar made their home on Point A Lake, Andalusia, and Panama City Beach. Boating, fishing, and travel became her favorite things to do; but most of all she loved being a grandmommy. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and was very active in the Ladies Bible Study Group for many years. Her love and devotion for her family were only surpassed by her love for her Savior.
