Mr. Elon C. Chavers, 93, of Andalusia, passed away Thursday, Feb. 3, 2022, at Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp.

Graveside services for Mr. Chavers were held Saturday, Feb. 5, 1 p.m., at Adellum Baptist Church Cemetery on Brooklyn Road in Andalusia with Brother Billy Boles officiating.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark Wayne Chavers (Dianne) of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Connie C. Holloway (Johnnie) of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Teresa C. Holloway (Theo, Sr.) of Andalusia; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela B. Baker (Larry) of Andalusia; grandchildren, Amanda L. Holloway, Tessa H. Daughtrey (J.C), Travis Holloway, Zack Chavers (Joy), Erin Chavers, and Coleman Baker; great-grandchildren, Ryan Chavers, Rex Chavers, Dillan Holloway, Abbie Holloway, Aiden Holloway, Noah Daughtrey, and Luke Daughtrey; brother and sister-in-law, A.G Chavers (Chiquita) of Pace, Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Homer Chavers (Anne) of Evergreen, Alabama; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon Chavers (Brenda) of Evergreen; sister and brother-in-law, Dottie Salters (Sheldon) of Cummings, Georgia; sister-in-law, Ann Chavers of Pace and numerous nieces and nephews.
