Nine county teams have cleared the first hurdle of the basketball playoffs at the area tournament and now head into the sub-regional round Monday, Feb. 14, and Tuesday, Feb. 15.

The winner and runner-up of each girls’ and boys’ area tournament play in one round of games according to pre-drawn pairings. Games will be played at the home sites of area winners.

Tickets will only be sold through GoFan at http://gofan.co. The Alabama High School Athletic Association has set admission for $8.00 per game.

Girls’ sub-regional games will take place Monday, Feb. 14. Boys’ sub-regional games will take place Tuesday, Feb. 15. The time for each sub-regional contest is set for 6 p.m.
