Mrs. Jean Fuqua of Andalusia passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022, at her residence. She was 93.

Graveside services were held Friday, Feb. 18, 11 a.m., at Magnolia Cemetery. The family received friends at Keahey Funeral Home one hour prior to time to depart for the services at the graveside.

Left to cherish her memory, sons, Danny Byron Fuqua (Mindy) of Andalusia; David Fuqua (Jana) of Birmingham; John Fuqua Sr., (Frances) of Birmingham; grandchildren, Laura Fuqua Mizerany (Blake), John Fuqua, Jr., (Ashley), Erika Everitte; great-grandchildren, Grayson Blake Mizerany, Addison Elizabeth Mizerany, Anderson Thomas Mizerany, Pierson William Mizerany.

A lifelong resident of Andalusia, she had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Andalusia since 1989.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Sanford Carter and Cumi Bence Carter, and her husband, Deward Byron Fuqua in 1999.
