Mr. Harold Olen Powell, age 78, of Andalusia died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, in a local hospital.

Graveside services were Tuesday, Feb. 22, 11 a.m., at Enon Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Mark Perry officiating. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 21, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Mr. Powell was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Eva Nell Norris Powell; a son, Johnny Powell; and parents, Olen Powell and Elender Short.

Mr. Powell is survived by sons, Eugene (Leigh) Powell and Donny Powell; daughter, Teresa (David) Morris; daughter-in-law, Kristi Powell Hildreth; eight grandchildren, Haydn (Jamey) Greene, Jared (Hannah) Powell, Erin (Jarad) Hughes, Garrett (Abigail) Powell, Ethan Powell, Katie (Jordan) McLelland, Kaleb (Abbie) Powell and Chelsea (Mason) Farley; 11 great-grandchildren, Carson Powell, Cooper Greene, Colden Powell, Lauson Hughes, Eva Lynn Powell, Noah McLelland, Jaxon Greene, Raegan Hughes, Kreed Powell, Alivia Greene, and Ridge Farley; brother, James (Connie) Powell; and mother-in-law, Eva Rae Norris.
