The Opp and Covington County Area Chamber of Commerce is now taking nominations for inductees into the Opp Hall of Fame.

The deadline for submitting these nominations is Friday, March 25, 2022.

Nominations remain current for six years and can be updated to current status with a letter of support.

Applications for nominations are available at the Opp Chamber of Commerce office as well as online on the chamber’s Facebook page and website.

Criteria for nominees include:

• A person must have by his/her achievements made outstanding contributions to the city of Opp.
• All nominees should be at least 65 years of age, retired a minimum of three years, or deceased.
• Have accomplishments in the fields of business; civic service; or cultural, educational, or charitable endeavors shall be considered as attributes for selection.
