An Andalusia resident was struck and killed while driving a motorcycle in Birmingham on Saturday, July 2.

Eric Leuji Carnley, 43, was traveling north on Interstate 59/20 at approximately 3:35 a.m. when his motorcycle was hit by another vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle that struck Carnley left the scene and Birmingham police are investigating the incident.

Carnley was taken to UAB Hospital where he died at 4:10 a.m.

Foreman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Carnley. There will be graveside services on Wednesday, July 6, 2 p.m., at Gorum Cemetery above Red Level with Bro. Michael Kyles and Brot. Cleon Kyles officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Foreman Funeral Home.
