Mr. John Gary Hicks, age 84, of Dauphin Island, Alabama, formerly of Andalusia, died Thursday, June 23, 2022, in a hospice care facility in Moss Point, Mississippi.

Graveside services were Monday, June 27, 10 a.m., at Andalusia Memorial Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. No formal visitation was scheduled; the family visited with friends at the cemetery.

Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife: Alice Marie Hicks of Dauphin Island, Alabama; one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Alex Andrianov; his grandson, Peter Andrianov; and sister, Sharon Hicks Martin.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Egbert Hicks and Corinne Stokes Hicks.
