GACA, which revived the Christian Academy in August 2020, will operate for students from K4 through the twelfth grade.

“We felt God calling us back to Christian education. Our desire is to minister to families in our community and influence children for Christ. We are grateful to start your child on a journey of lifelong learning with excellent Christian academics. At every level from kindergarten to high school, enrollment at GACA means a solid academic education and a firm foundation for lifelong learning,” Guardian Angel Director of Children’s Education Mindy Day said.

The school year will begin Monday, August 8, and end Friday, May 19, 2023. Day added that Melissa Alday, Sabrina Hudson, and Becky Foster would serve as the moderators.

“Giving your children an excellent education is one of the best investments you can make. GACA will provide their children with a quality Christian education in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Students will receive a solid academic foundation with an emphasis on Christian character and patriotism. Additional services such as breakfast and lunch, dance transportation, and an extended school day program are available to fit the needs of your family. With clean, modern facilities and a safe environment, Guardian Angel Christian Academy is well-prepared to meet your educational needs.”

According to Day, GACA students will improve their reading comprehension and vocabulary knowledge as they learn and review the fundamentals of phonics.

“Using an exceptional reading program, our teachers will encourage your child not only to learn to read but also to enjoy it. Reading skills are practiced and strengthened through activity time, science, history, and health. Critical thinking is also emphasized in practical subjects such as math, language arts, and Bible,” she said.

Enrollment packets may be picked up at the GACA business office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A birth certificate is required, and school transcripts will be requested for students who are transferring from another school.

Guardian Angel is a ministry of Andalusia Full Gospel Tabernacle established in 1995. “Since then, we have had the pleasure of loving and ministering to many lives over the years.
