James Harold ‘Bubba’ Tatum

In loving memory of a beloved husband, father, and brother, on July 22, in the year of our Lord 2022, James Harold (Bubba) Tatum ascended home to be with our Lord and loved ones before us.

James Harold ‘Bubba’ Tatum

Born Feb. 11, 1956, he was the first son of Wayne Harold and Cathryn Lawson Tatum. He was fondly known as “Bubby” to family and “Bubba” to friends.

He was a proud graduate of Fort Walton Beach High School and served in the Army with an honorable discharge during the Vietnam era from the 82nd Airborne Division. Bubba James was a master electrician, plumber, and gas fitter. He owned and operated “Bubba’s Plumbing,” serving the tri-county area and to the moon if asked. He married on Dec. 31, 2018.

He is survived by his wife, Keitha L H. Tatum, and siblings, Farrell Tatum, and wife Julie; three sisters, Mrs. Brenda Petty; Gary Petty, brother-in-law; Becky and Ray Mauldin; and Joy and Kevin Davis. By Grace, he loved 11 children and 13 grandchildren.

A celebration of life party with military honors will be held on Saturday, August 13, from 1 to 5 p.m. This invitation extends to all friends and family.
