Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

ReAct Theatre and Arts is happy to announce open auditions for the beloved children’s classic, “Charlotte’s Web” this fall.

ReAct Theatre will present “Charlotte’s Web” this fall in October.

Auditions for children and teens grades two through 12 are scheduled for Sunday, August 21 at 4 p.m. Those aged 18 through adulthood may also audition on Sunday afternoon or Monday evening August 22 at 6 p.m. Auditions will be held at the Church Street Cultural Arts Center. School-aged children are encouraged to audition on Sunday afternoon so as not to conflict with auditions the following day for Missoula Children’s Theatre at LBWCC.

Cast requirements for “Charlotte’s Web” are five to 10 females, four to nine males, and an ensemble. Roger Powell, director of this production, states that performance dates are October 27-30, at the Dixon Center for Performing Arts on the campus of LBWCC.

If cast, rehearsals will follow a Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday schedule at 6 p.m. beginning August 29 and until show week, with expected rehearsal on Saturday morning, Oct. 22, and Sunday afternoon, Oct. 23. The cast must be able to accommodate this schedule. Additional information will be provided at auditions. For updates, please check the Facebook page of ReAct Theatre and Arts.

Anyone who is interested in volunteering with this and future productions of ReAct Theatre and Arts should come at the time of auditions or contact the director at powellwatercolor@gmail.com. Volunteers are needed in many areas behind the scenes. Everyone should use the rear entrance of the Cultural Arts Center.

Come be a part of this joyful adventure as we join Charlotte the spider, Wilbur the pig, his friend Fern, Templeton the rat, and a host of other delightful characters. “Charlotte’s Web” is an adaptation by Joseph Robinette of the book by E.B. White and is presented through special arrangement with Dramatic Publishing Company.
