Mr. Gary Allen Day, 62, of Red Level, passed away Sunday, Oct. 23, 2022, at Andalusia Hospital.

Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 28, 2 p.m., at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Loango with Brother Jerry Turner and Brother Tirey Bowen officiating and Foreman Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Day; five children, Amanda (Walter) Griggs, Samantha (Joseph) Acreman, Gregory (Jessica) Day, Jeff (Kiersten) Day, Jerome (Summer) Day; 15 grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe (Paula) Day and Steven (Dottie) Day; sisters, Debbie (Ray) Huckabaa, Shirley (David) Cole, Lynn Burke, Diane Salter, Melissa Arnold, Lisa Odom, and Roseanne Johnston; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family members, including a very special friend, William Mills.

He is preceded in death by his parents, George A. “Jack” Day and Clara Evelyn Day, and his granddaughter, Elizabeth Griggs.

Pallbearers will be Bret Kelley, Andrew Kelley, Anthony Griggs, William Mills, Thomas Douglas, Kenneth Douglas, Robert Douglas, and Cody Kelley.
