Funeral services for Mr. Pike were held on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2022, 3 p.m., from the Foreman Funeral Home chapel. Interment was in the Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Reverend Kevin Wilburn officiated. Visitation began Thursday at 2 p.m. at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mr. Pike is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mrs. Nan Pike of Andalusia; a daughter, Sylvia Shelley Pike of Andalusia, a son, William Max “Will” Pike of Marietta, Georgia; and also by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Pike moved to Andalusia several years ago and began his career with the Covington County Extension Agent’s office and retired after more than 40 years of service with them as a county agent coordinator. He was a member for over 40 years of the First Baptist Church of Andalusia. He was also the last of the founding members of the Little Pine Hunting Club.

Pallbearers were Mike Anderson, Charles Gantt, Chase Gantt, Glenn Ralls, Russell Wiggins, and Doug Sorrells.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the Andalusia Masonic Lodge #434 and also members of the Covington County Alabama Farmers Federation.
