Bobbie Briggs Milton, age 86 of Red Level, passed away on Nov. 18, 2022.

She was born in Rutledge, Alabama, on July 10, 1936, to the late Onist and Kate Stephenson Briggs.

Ms. Milton was a longtime member of Buck Creek Baptist Church. She served in the church and church functions until she was unable to due to her husband’s declining health and subsequently her own.

She is survived by her two sons: Keith Milton (Tammy) and Jerry Milton (Melanye); daughter-in-law, Lori Milton; four grandsons, three granddaughters, and 11 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James A. Milton; her eldest son, Jimmy Milton, and sister, Delilah Briggs Staggers.

Funeral services were held on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, 11 a.m., at Buck Creek Baptist Church in Red Level with Rev. Billy Boles and Rev. Tyler Ingram officiating.

Graveside service followed in the Buck Creek Cemetery.

Visitation was held on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Buck Creek Baptist Church prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Jim Milton, Evan Milton, Steven Milton, Clay Milton, Cody Gardner, and Donnell Johnson.

Final care and arrangements have been faithfully entrusted to the care of Forman-Brown Service Funeral Home.
