Mr. Carlton C. “Sonny” Hare, age 90, passed from this life Nov. 16, 2022.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Hare; two sons, Marcus (Alison) Williams and Michael Williams; one grandson, Quinton Williams; one brother, Frank M. (Wanda) Hare; brother-in-law, Bill T. Kirby; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Linda Sue Hare; his parents, Almer V. Hare and Maude Chesser Hare; and a sister, Betty Hare Kirby.

Carlton was a graduate of Pleasant Home High School, Class of 1950. He served in the Korean War. He retired from Power South (AEC) from the Energy Control Dept. in 1996.
