Mrs. Abbie Lee Patterson, 84, of Red Level died Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022, at her residence.

Funeral services for Mrs. Patterson were Friday, Dec. 9, 11 a.m., at Buck Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Boles and Rev. Tyler Ingram officiating. Interment followed at Buck Creek Cemetery with Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Visitation was after Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Buck Creek Baptist Church.

Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by a brother, Danny DeVault, and a sister, Pat Davenport.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Mack Patterson of Red Level; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Sherry) Patterson of Red Level; three daughters and sons-in-law: Diane (Norman) Brooks, Tammie (Loyd) Chesser; and Cindy (Tony) Holley, all of Red Level; eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Chad) Smith, Kristen (Andrew) Averitt, Chad (Katie) Chesser, Julie Wallace, Heather (Terry) Gantt, Jerrica (Cam) Copeland, Tyler (Tiffany) Patterson, and Shelby (Austin) Plant; 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Don (Martha) Sikes of DeVille, Louisiana; one sister-in-law, Barbara DeVault; and one brother-in-law, Devon Davenport.

Pallbearers will be Peyton Smith, Tyler Patterson, Chad Chesser, Andrew Averitt, Cam Copeland, and Austin Plant. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Joe Sharpe, Richard Johnson, and Dale Faust.
