Barbara Ann Poole Teel, 85, of Andalusia, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Jan. 16, 2023, from a short battle with pneumonia and congestive heart failure.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Jan. 18, 11 a.m., at Foreman Funeral Home with visitation at 10 a.m. prior to service. Interment will follow at Able Cemetery in Gantt. Brother Larry Stewart will officiate the service.

Ms. Teel is survived by her sisters, Bobby Blakenship and Mary Etheridge; her children, Pat Powell (John), Randall Watson (Peggy), Debbie Weant, Kay Bundrick (Jeff), Kenneth Teel (Kathy) and dear friend Betty Knowles; her 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was a loving and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her best times were gathering her family together for holidays and feasts. She was well known for her baking, canning, and gardening. She maintained her home and garden and also beat the pants off her children in dominoes until the very end.

Flowers will be accepted by family, or donations may be made to West Highland Baptist Church in memory of Barbara Ann Poole Teel.
