The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Vine+Branch at the Chamber on Wednesday, March 22.

Among those in attendance were owner Allie Nielsen, cutting the ribbon; Allie’s husband Will Nielsen, and mother-in-law Cheryl Nielsen; City of Andalusia Mayor Earl Johnson; City Councilman Presley Boswell; Chamber President Mellisa King; AACC Executive Director Laura Wells, left of ribbon; and AACC Director of Membership Services Maggie Holmes, right of ribbon.

Vine+Branch created centerpieces and entry décor for the Chamber’s Lunch and Learn event on the same day.

Her company started as a side project when she was inspired by her husband’s family company. Nielsen then combined her love of gardening and décor into one, which is how Vine+Branch was formed.

She offers products such as fresh smilax, various wreaths, olive branch topiaries, and table centerpieces.
