Mr. Thomas Joseph Sowell, age 77 of Red Level, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 30, 2 p.m., at Hopewell Baptist Church. The family received friends at Hopewell Baptist Church one hour prior to the services. Rev. Barry Wilkinson officiated; the music was provided by Pastor Joey Ogletree, Adam Cobb, and Bethany Huckaba.  The interment followed in River Falls Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers were Jason Nall, Andy Riley, Mike Stokes, Chris Threatt, Edgar Lambert, and Joey Ogletree. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Eula Pat Sowell; daughters, Sherry Sowell Roper (Casey) of Andalusia; Angelia Kay Worley of Andalusia; granddaughters, Sheridan Wright of Andalusia, and Jamisyn Wright of Andalusia. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Sowell; four brothers, Gene Sowell, Wade Sowell, James Sowell, and Kenny Sowell. Mr. Sowell loved carpentry work, fishing, going to church, and spending time with his girls.
