Two county teams remain alive after surviving the first round of the state baseball playoffs and will compete in second-round action Wednesday, April 26, through Saturday, April 29.

Play is double elimination in a best-two-of-three series.

The first and second games of each second-round series will be played as a doubleheader on the first day of the series. The host team will serve as the “home team” in the first game of the series. The traveling team will be the designated “home team” in the second game. The host team will be the home team if the third game is necessary.

The Alabama High School Athletic Association has set the price of admission at $10 for a doubleheader and $8 for a third game.

All tickets will be sold through GoFan. No tickets will be available for purchase at the gate.

Red Level (10-7) will host Leroy (16-17) in a series scheduled to begin Wednesday, April 26, at 1 p.m. If a third game is needed, it will be played Thursday, April 27, at 3:30 p.m.

Florala (14-2) will travel to Billingsley (18-3) in a scheduled to begin Friday, April 28, at 4:30 p.m. If a third game is needed, it will be played Saturday, April 29, at noon.

Second-round winners will advance to the quarterfinal round scheduled for Friday, May 5, and Saturday, May 6.
