Janet Kidd was a caring wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her loving heart left a beacon of light for all who were so lucky to know her. Janet devoted her years to taking care of her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing with her dogs. Janet created warm and loving homes as an army wife for 30 years in Germany, Belgium, Washington, D.C., Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia. Her most dedicated responsibility in life was the care and education of her Autistic son, Daniel. She served as an advocate for children with disabilities in Cherokee County. Her favorite song came from living in Louisiana for a time as a child, “You Are My Sunshine.” It is fitting she was the sunshine for so many. The closer you were to her, the warmer your life was.
