Mediacom Communications recently recognized Austin Creel, an employee from its Andalusia office, as having achieved the company’s top performance rankings for outstanding customer service and excellence in technical operations.

Creel was recognized as the Installer Technician of the Year at a recent ceremony with corporate leaders. He was one of 35 employees companywide to receive a national silver-level award and has been a Mediacom employee since 2021.

“I am honored to be selected for this award from Mediacom. It shows that all of my hard work has paid off and gives me satisfaction knowing I put forth my best efforts. I’ve always been the type of person who likes to help others, and serving as a technician for Mediacom has allowed me to do that,” Creel said.

Creel was previously recognized as Mediacom’s Area Operations Employee of the Year in November 2023. He is the son of Trisha Creel and John Lunsford.

“Thank you to my coworkers for helping me and everyone for showing continued support,” Creel added.

Companywide, Mediacom employs over 3,500 people, and Creel was one of 196 employees recognized for performance achievements over the past year. Award recipients receive a monetary bonus and other employee recognition.
