Mrs. Lee G. Johnson, 82, of Red Level, passed away on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at her residence.

Funeral services for Mrs. Johnson will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1 p.m., at Long Branch Baptist Church with Brother Winston Foshee officiating. Interment will follow at Long Branch Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at Long Branch Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby Gene Godwin (Marta) of Rose Hill; her grandchildren, Beau Godwin (Amanda), Sara Mosley (Jay), Katie Wheeler (Lex); her great-grandchildren, Tyler Mosley, Zoe Mosley, Hadley Mosley, Landin Wheeler, Abigail Wheeler, Ruby Wheeler; her brothers and sister-in-law, Wilbur Mitchell (Barbara) of Red Level, Dean Mitchell of Red Level; her sisters and sons-in-law, Jean Smithart (Robert) of Andalusia, June Harper of McKenzie, Jane Bullock (David) of Andalusia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Johnson; her daughter, May Godwin Thornton, her parents, Willie and Mamie Mitchell; her sister, Faye Bass.
