With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Timothy Charles Cunningham, who departed this life on Feb. 22, 2025, at the age of 68. Tim, a loved member of our family, leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering strength.

Tim was born to Charles and Mozell Cunningham on Sept. 24, 1956, at Covington Memorial Hospital of Andalusia. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles, and is survived by his mother, Mozell; his sister, Donna Cunningham Till (Allen); brother, Brett Cunningham; nephews, Michael and Mathew Till; niece, Anna Till; Aunt Patricia Douglas; and countless cousins. He also leaves behind several special friends, Scott Summersell, Nicholas Summersell, MaryAnn Asmus, Ann Labatut, and Earlene Leytham. He also leaves behind his cherished pets, Maya, Bailey, and Jaxon.

Tim graduated from Andalusia High School in 1974 and went on to attend MacArthur Technical College, training in Computer Science and Technology when that field was in its early stages. He then worked at Infirmary Health System of Mobile until he retired thirty-six years later.

Tim was an avid reader, gardener, and he enjoyed cooking. He loved to travel and took many adventures to the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina and the beaches of Alabama and Florida.

A memorial service to celebrate Tim’s life will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025, 1 p.m., at Foreman Funeral Home of Andalusia with Pastor Larry Stewart officiating, where friends and family are invited to share their memories and pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to a charity of your choice.

As we say goodbye to Tim, we find solace in the countless beautiful memories that will forever be etched in our hearts. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
