Each year, from February 15 to 22, FFA chapters all over the country celebrate National FFA Week.

National FFA Week provides opportunities for supporters and members to celebrate FFA’s role in developing the next generation of leaders in agriculture.

This year, the Red Level FFA Chapter celebrated National FFA Week with a week full of festivities, and competitions. Throughout the week, we celebrated Teacher Appreciation Day, and the chapter officer team read books to all the elementary classes.

Thursday was the chapter-wide day of competition for all of the FFA members. The competitions were Floriculture, Nursery/Landscape, Forestry, Poultry Judging, and Ag Mechanics Career Development Events (CDEs), Prepared Public Speaking, and Extemporaneous Public Speaking Leadership Development Events (LDEs).

To round off the week, the chapter hosted an awards program to recognize all the winners, followed by our member and supporter luncheon. Red Level FFA extends a huge thank you to volunteers and judges: Jack Harris, Amanda Henderson, Darshana Maddox, Kelly Mullins, Carrie Rice, Lauren Maynor, and Tracy Simmons. These individuals helped make this week possible.
