Laurette Harrison (Dale) passed away on Feb. 28, 2025, in Dadeville, Alabama, at the age of 85.

Born on Jan. 31, 1940, in Opp, Laurette lived a life filled with love for family and a deep appreciation for nature.

Laurette was preceded in death by their beloved husband, Robert A. Harrison; her parents, Otis and Josie Dale; and her brothers, Billy Dale, Jimmy Dale, Jerry Dale, and Larry Dale.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Ballard and Monica Hendricks (Mark); grandchildren Robert Hadley (Amanda), Misty Barbarow, and Danielle Nicholson (Paul); as well as great-grandchildren Robert, Amber, Caleb, Jacob, Blake, Ryder, and Scarlett.

One of Laurette’s greatest joys was spending time outdoors. She found peace and fulfillment in tending to her yard and cultivating beautiful flowers. Her passion for gardening brought color and life to those around them.

A memorial service will be held on March 15, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Laurette’s home at 18330 County Road 40 in Opp. Friends and family are welcome to gather in remembrance.
