Rev. Fred Ronald Kelley, age 94, of Andalusia passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025 ,in a local nursing facility.

Funeral services for Rev. Kelley will be held Monday, March 10, 11 a.m., at Pleasant Home Baptist Church with Bro. Shannon Driver and Bro. Jim Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Home Baptist Church cemetery with Foreman Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, at Foreman Funeral Home and at the church 30 minutes prior to services.

Rev. Kelley was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a tile contractor for over 50 years. He lived in the Pleasant Home Community most all of his life. He served his Lord and Savior faithfully as pastor over 40 years at Salem Baptist Church in Andalusia, Liberty Home Baptist Church in Andalusia, New Providence Baptist Church in Paul, Alabama, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Loango, and attended Pleasant Home Church with family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, James Ronald “Butch” and Kathi Kelley of Andalusia, Rev. Fred and Rita Kelley of Andalusia; daughter, Sharon Kelley and Shannon Driver of Dozier; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Rev. George Kelley of Andalusia and Rev. Jim and Gail Kelley of Andalusia; brother-in-law, A.G. Palmore of Atlanta; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Patsy Kelley, and a daughter, Norma Jean Kelley.
