Covington County Quilters’ Guild to host Quilts by the Lake; selling tickets for charity quilt

The Covington County Quilters’ Guild will hold “Quilts by the Lake” on Friday, May 2, and Saturday, May 3, at the Rodney J. Evans Civic Center in Florala. Admission is $7 with Friday’s show from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Saturday’s show from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tickets for an exquisite king-sized quilt are $1 with a drawing to be held on June 10 with proceeds going to CCQG charities. Tickets can be purchased at O Sew Pretty in Opp or from any Quilters’ Guild member. They will also be available for purchase at the door during the Quilts by the Lake event.
