Sarah Elizabeth Moore Foreman, lovingly known as Beth, passed away at the age of 68. Born on Dec. 6, 1956, in Andalusia, Beth was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Beth is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Foreman of Andalusia; her children, Robert Dale Foreman II (Kara) of Dozier and Sarah (Clayton) O’Brien of Decatur; and her seven cherished grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters: Kaye (Roger) Moody of Dozier, Tonita (Rauls) Romero of Deatsville, and Donna (Keith) Davis of Athens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Margaret Moore of Dozier.
Beth graduated as salutatorian of Dozier High School in 1975 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Troy State University in 1979. She began her professional career at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida, and later returned to her hometown to serve the community through the local medical clinic. Beth then embarked on a career that would span over three decades at Covington Electric Cooperative, where she was known for her dedication and warmth.
Outside of her professional life, Beth found her greatest joy in spending time with her family and passionately cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 11 a.m., at First Methodist Church in Andalusia under the direction of Foreman Brown Service Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Liberty Congregational Church in Brantley, Alabama.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Foundation for Women’s Cancer or the Mal and Charlotte Moore Crimson Heart Endowed Scholarship in Beth’s memory.
