Will Holmes of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, and Shannon and Sandy Wiggins of Andalusia announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsey Magnolia Holmes, to John Andrew Stoneback Jr., son of Alan and Shannon Cook of Alabaster, Alabama.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Willie Joe Sr. and Jaqueline Holmes of Brewton, Alabama, and the late Melvin and Betty Grimes of Andalusia. She is a 2014 graduate of Straughn High School and earned her degree in Global Business from Troy University in 2019. Miss Holmes currently serves as the Director of Membership Services for the Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce.

The prospective groom is the grandson of David and Ann Barnes of Opp, Alabama, and Paul Sr. and Denille Spears of Andalusia. He is a 2018 graduate of Slocomb High School and a 2021 graduate of the Montgomery Police Academy. Mr. Stoneback is currently employed as a Law Enforcement Officer at the Andalusia Police Department.

The couple will unite in marriage in October at the residence of Phillip and Susan Baker in Dozier, Alabama.
