An Andalusia woman was killed and a teenager injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning.

Teresa Kirkland McIntosh, 59, was fatally injured when the 2022 Hyundai Accent she was driving was struck by a 2025 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Randall Eugene Copeland, 65, of Andalusia. McIntosh was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 13-year-old passenger in the Accent was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Cantaline Bridge Road and US Hwy. 84, approximately 1 mile west of Babbie in Covington County.

No other details are available at this time as troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
