Crossover Ministry held their Annual Banquet at the Opp First Baptist Church Fellowship Center on April 29.

Guest speaker Billy Irvin, director of ministry relations at Faith Radio, told about the tragic consequences of addiction; not just for the addict, but also for family and friends.  He shared about a member of his family that struggled with addiction.

Brett Carter, Crossover’s Executive Director, welcomed everyone and worded the invocation.  Two client testimonies were shown via video.

Board Chairman Dr. Josh Driver pointed out the financial needs of Crossover and asked attendees to consider how they or their church could supply the needed funds. The mission of Crossover Ministry is to provide a Christian recovery solution for substance abuse and addiction through the use of education, work, counseling, and the knowledge of Jesus Christ; that will help people rebuild their lives and their communities.

Crossover Ministry opened its door in January 2005 and it is located on Hwy. 52 East in Opp. It is a six-month residential program offered free of charge to its clients and their families.
