The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Leonardo’s Enterprise Granite’s Andalusia Showroom in conjunction with its grand opening on Monday, May 19.

Among those in attendance were owners Leonardo and Alyssa Mendoza, cutting the ribbon, Enterprise Granite staff; AACC Executive Director Mellisa King, left of ribbon; AACC Director of Membership Services Maggie Holmes, right of ribbon; Chamber President Ginny Grimes, Chamber Vice-President Garret Bowers, Chamber board members Emily Cain, Katie King, Sarah Singletary, Breunna Wiggins, and Anna Worley.

The company specializes in all-stone fabrication using quartz, granite, marble, and soapstone for sink installations and repairs.

“We will measure for countertops, provide sinks, and give free estimates. We are able to remove your old countertops and will put the new countertops in, so we are doing fabrication, installation, and everything. We also have granite, quartz, and marble and do farm sinks, undermount sinks, and drop-in sinks as well as cabinets,” Owner Alyssa Mendoza said.

Alyssa said her husband Leonardo has been in the granite business since 2001.

“He learned from his father who does countertops, so it has been like a family thing. Our children are learning the business as well. Our sons are excited to join us, and our daughter is at our Enterprise showroom Monday through Friday while I am here in Andalusia,” Mendoza added.

Located at 209 S. Three Notch St. in downtown Andalusia, Enterprise Granite is open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and Monday and Saturday by appointment only.
