The Opp Rotary Club proudly hosted its Annual Day of Giving on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, continuing its long-standing tradition of supporting local nonprofits and community programs.
During the event, the Club presented $500 donations to seven deserving organizations that play a vital role in the well-being and growth of the Opp area.
This year’s recipients included:
- Opp Elementary School
- Bethesda House
- Crossover Ministries
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes
- Meals of Love
- Opp Cultural Arts Center
- Sav-A-Life
“These organizations embody the Rotarian belief of Service above Self,” said a representative of the Opp Rotary Club. “Their dedication to education, faith-based outreach, health, the arts, and community service directly reflects our mission to uplift and strengthen our local community.”
The Annual Day of Giving is one of many initiatives the Opp Rotary Club undertakes each year to make a positive impact in Covington County. By investing in groups that address a wide range of community needs, the Club ensures that its contributions touch lives across all ages and backgrounds.
