Covington County Schools announces destruction of 1999 student records

The Covington County School Board is scheduled to destroy special education records on June 12, 2025.
Records set to be destroyed are those of students born in 1999. Parents of a student or a former student aged 26, in Covington County Schools, born in 1999, may pick up records at the Covington County Board of Education from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, June 12, 2025.
Anyone unable to pick up records may request them by sending a written authorization to release records to: Kelly McCollough, Special Education Coordinator; Covington County Schools; 807 C.C. Baker Ave.; Andalusia, AL 36420.
The letter should include a current mailing address and phone number.
