The Covington County Engineer’s Office announces that a portion of Jackson Town Road, between Adams Pond Road and County Road 32, will be closed on Wednesday, June 4, to allow for necessary infrastructure improvements.

The road will close at 7:30 a.m. and is expected to reopen by 5 p.m. the same day. This closure is required to safely complete a pipe replacement project in the area.

Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and use caution when traveling near the work zone.

“We appreciate the public’s patience as we continue working to improve and maintain our county’s infrastructure,” said County Engineer Lynn Ralls. “These upgrades are essential to keeping our roadways safe and efficient for all drivers.”
