Alan Williamson, President of Covington Casket Company, is proud to announce the opening of a new distribution center in Tallulah, Louisiana.

Located in the northeast section of the state just off Interstate 20, the new facility marks an important milestone in the company’s continued growth.

“This location is a totally new area for us,” Williamson said. “It will increase our footprint in the Southeast and open up new relationships for us in north Louisiana and Arkansas. Our current distribution center, located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, will remain open and be used as a hub to supply Tallulah and our Hammond, Louisiana, distribution centers.”

The Tallulah warehouse will become Covington’s fourth distribution center, joining existing locations in Cullman, Alabama; Hammond, Louisiana; and Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

With its corporate headquarters in Andalusia, Covington Casket Company recently expanded into a new 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility, celebrated its 100th year in business, and continues to be family-owned and operated.
