The Andalusia Star-News is excited to announce the launch of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards, kicking off on July 1.

This highly anticipated contest gives readers the opportunity to nominate their favorite businesses, organizations, and individuals across a variety of categories.

To participate, simply visit the Andalusia Star-News contest page at www.andalusiastarnews.com/contests, where nominations can be submitted.

The 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards will celebrate the very best of Covington County, highlighting outstanding local talent and service. The nomination period runs through July 25 at 5 p.m., and with an all-new platform, the process is easier than ever. To get started, just visit the contest page, select a category, and register using your email address. Once registered, you can return to nominate your favorites once per day.

No digital subscription is required to participate. Simply head to the contest page and start nominating. After the nomination round ends, the top three nominees in each category will move on to the voting phase, where readers will decide the ultimate winners.

Voting will begin on August 1 and end on August 25. The winners will be revealed both online and in the special 2025 Readers’ Choice Winners print edition in September.
