Will Sconiers has officially qualified to run for City Council in Dist. 1 of Andalusia.
Having previously served four terms in this position, Sconiers has witnessed significant improvements in the area. However, he believes there is still much work to be done.
“The national economy has undergone substantial changes over the past decade, and it’s essential that we continue to attract new businesses and create well-paying jobs. We must leverage existing incentives to achieve these goals,” Sconiers said.
Education remains a top priority for Sconiers. He emphasizes the need for continued investment in our schools, ensuring that both students and teachers have the tools necessary for success in today’s world.
“I also believe we can improve diversity within our teaching staff by hiring more minority educators,” he added.
Dist. 1 has not seen significant housing development since the mid-1970s, and Sconiers believes it is time for an update. Whether single-family homes or apartments, there is a growing demand for new housing. If elected, he plans to include this as part of his five-year development plan from day one.
The municipal election will take place on August 26, 2025. Mr. Sconiers would greatly appreciate your support in District 1.
