According to data collected by the Drug Enforcement agency, three pharmacies in Covington County each received shipments of more than 3 million dosage units of opioids over a six-year span.

On July 15, 2019, Judge Dan Aaron Polster of the Northern District of Ohio ordered data covering opioid shipments from 2006 to 2012 to be made publicly available.

Darby’s Village Pharmacy on East Three Notch Street received 3.5 million, the old City Drug Store on South Three Notch Street received 3.3 million and the Florala Pharmacy received 3.2 million.
