Speed boat spectators

Spectators watch the end of a heat in the Southern Outlaw Dragboat Association’s drag racing event on Lake Jackson in Florala Saturday. Boats raced throughout the dace on an 800-foot course with the fastest boats reaching speeds of up to 110 mph. The event was sanctioned by the American Outboard Association. Lake Jackson was closed for the event, which drew spectators throughout the day
