At a special-called Opp City Schools Board meeting last week, personnel changes were the only items on the agenda.

The board voted to transfer Ronald Sansom from teacher at OHS to counselor at OHS, which is a 202-day contract, effective Aug. 1.

Board members also voted to hire Emily Ferrell as history teacher at OHS, effective Aug. 1.

Additionally, the board hired four part-time student assistants for the Race Trac after school program.

Superintendent Michael Smithart requested the names of those students be kept private since they are minors.
