PENNY DELAINE MORRIS SHIVERS

Penny Delaine Morris Shivers, 41, passed away on Mon., Nov. 28, 2011, at a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.

Funeral services will be held today, Thurs., Dec. 1, at 10 a.m., at Unity Baptist Church with the Rev. Gene Pickern officiating. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. at the South Church of God Cemetery in Red Level.

A native of Andalusia, Mrs. Shivers was a resident of Flomaton for the last 18 years and attended the Unity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Kenny Shivers; her son, Nikolas Shivers, both of Flomaton; her father, Robert Morris; her sister, Lynn (Michael) Bush; grandmother, Mamie H. Morris, all of Red Level; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roy and Geneva Shivers of Flomaton; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Morris.

Pallbearers will be Larry Turman, Lamar Williamson, Stacey Williamson, Keith Willilamson, Joey Turman and Chris Fuller.

Petty Funeral Home of Atmore is in charge of arrangements.
