Florala outscored Central Hayneville 29-6 in the second half as the Wildcats rolled to a 52-26 victory on Friday night at Mathews Stadium.

“I’m just proud of the way our kids came out in the second half,” FHS head football coach Justin Jones said. “They went in there and did a good job of tackling.”

Florala scored two touchdowns on passes and the rest were rushing TDs.

Jones said the team gave up one long run, but he reiterated that he’s still proud of his team.

“I thought our offensive line did a good job of blocking for our backs,” he said. “Overall, I’m proud of our kids.”

Florala travels to face Geneva County to start region play next week.
