Turnovers plague Florala

Florala lost four fumbles and Brantley’s speed was too much for the Wildcats as the Bulldogs won 55-8 on Friday night at Mathews Stadium.

“They had one or two guys who can play,” FHS head football coach Justin Jones said. “They made plays and we didn’t. We played much better in the second half.”

Florala’s only score came on a 4-yard rush after the Wildcats started their drive on the 35-yard line on a forced bad punt.

The Wildcats will visit rival foe Pleasant Home next week in region action.
