Lady Tigers clip Excel

Straughn clipped Excel’s wings last night in a 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 28-26) area victory at SHS.

The Lady Tigers were led by Jacie Williamson, who had five service points, five blocks, five digs and 11 kills; Cystal Bonds with nine kills; Emily Hammett with nine service points and 12 assists; Angel Carter with nine service points; Paige Taylor with four assists; Chelsea Powell with three kills; Courtney Fussell with nine service points, five aces and five kills; and Holly McGraw with three service points.

In junior varsity action, SHS beat Excel 2-0 (25-11, 25-22).
