JACK M. STUDSTILL

Jack M. Studstill, a lifelong resident of Andalusia, died Sept. 26, 2012, in Destin, Fla. He was born May 3, 1918, to Henry G. and May Pearl Studstill. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Studstill served three years in the Army Quartermasters Corp. Upon returning from the war, he continued his career with Alatex, Inc. (Cluett Peabody) until his retirement, after 43 years, in 1979 as secret-ary/treasurer of the corporation. Mr. Studstill was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Studstill, sister, Alice White, and son-in-law, Michael Heninger.

Mr. Studstill is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Studstill; daughters, Sissy (Peter) Aron of New Milford, CT, and Judy Heninger of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla.; grandson, Jay (Carrie) Heninger; and great-granddaughters, Jules and Mary Heninger, all of Enterprise, Ala.; his sister, Margaret West of Tampa, Fla., and a number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. Sat., Sept. 29, 2012, at Foreman Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Tim Trent officiating.

Visitation will be after 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

MOZELLE HAMMETT

Mrs. Mozelle Hammett, 92, of Andalusia, passed away Mon., Sept. 24, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, Thurs., Sept. 27, at Foreman Funeral Home, with the Rev. Doug Golden officiating.

Interment will follow in the Macedonia Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. today at Foreman Funeral Home.

Mrs. Hammett is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn (Rayford) Davis of Andalusia and Joan (Rex) Russell of Andalusia; her son and daughter-in-law, Seth (Nancy) Hammett of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Terri (James) Wilson, Dwain (Tonya) Davis, Debbie (Steve) Posey, JoLynne (Ronnie) Cox, Merrill (Amanda) Hammett and Catherine Hammett; her great- grandchildren, Clayton (Claire) Posey, Laura Stephens, Azaryah Wilson, Bolton Davis, Hammett Cox, Anna Kate Hammett, and Connor Hammett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hammett is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Marvin Hammett.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Macedonia Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
