Straughn swept Pike County Tuesday night in volleyball action.

The Lady Tigers varsity squad won big, 25-11, 25-8, 25-13, while the junior varsity squad won, 25-8, 25-12.

Jacie Williamson led SHS with six aces and five kills; Paige Taylor had eight aces and 11 service points; Courtney Fussell had four aces and six kills; and Emily Hammett had 10 assists.

Straughn (10-8) will play just a varsity match today at Elba. The trimatch originally scheduled was canceled.
