Mr. and Mrs. Benny Gay of Andalusia are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary Kendall Gay, to Marvin Duane Williford Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Williford Sr., of Florala.

The bride-elect is also the daughter of the late Mrs. Beth Gay, and she is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gay of Donalsonville, Ga., the late Rev. and Mrs. Bob Hall of Anniston, and Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Tedder of Perry, Fla.

She is a 2005 graduate of Andalusia High School and a 2009 graduate of Auburn University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in public administration. She is employed by Andalusia Manor.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Marvin P. Williford, the late Louise Williford of Deweyville, Texas, and the late George Zlokas and the late Beverly Zlokas of Pensacola, Fla.

He is a 1992 graduate of Florala High School and is employed by the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board.

The wedding will take place on Sat., Nov. 10, at 3 p.m., at the Springdale Estate in Andalusia with a reception to follow.
